Alchemy with the Robes

The 33 Sacred Robes are hand-painted silk Robes with life-size archetypal figures designed and created by Megan Wagner.

The 33 Robes represent 33 different Spiritual Elders from many diverse cultural and spiritual traditions.

Each Robe is a spiritual guide imparting wisdom and knowledge and is imbued with colors, symbols and mythic images to facilitate transformation and planetary healing.

Together the 33 Robes form a body of knowledge – an Initiation Pathway to awaken your spirit, connect you deeply with Earth and all creation and help you celebrate the gifts of your life.

Stepping into New Possibilities

Since 1999, Megan has been designing and creating silk Robes for healing, teaching, ceremony and ritual.

This originated when she wanted to find a creative medium to facilitate Personal Mastery so her students could actually get into Robes and step into new possibilities for their lives.

Then the project expanded in 2012 when The Grand Council asked Megan to animate the entire Council through the Sacred Robes.

Although the images on the Robes can be contemplated and used for imaginary journeys, the possibility that they can be animated by a living human being creates an immediate dialogue between the Master Guide on the Robe and the individual who steps inside.

Each Robe comes alive in creative ritual and ceremony when a seeker is willing to step into their Personal Mastery.

For many years now, Megan has been traveling and teaching with the Sacred Robes. Hundreds of people have tried them on, performed rituals and sacred ceremonies, danced, drummed and chanted in the Sacred Robes.

They have been to sacred sites in Crete, Hawaii, Italy, France, Spain, England, Scotland, Morocco, Turkey, Mexico, Thailand, Gambia West Africa and Japan so far. They have been blessed by ancient stone circles, temples and sacred groves.

It’s hard to describe the feeling when you wear the Robes in sacred ceremony.

During ritual amazing wisdom come forth from seemingly ordinary people. The archetypal images on the Robes begin to speak and ancient wisdom pours forth.

The Robes are channels of information and gateways to ancient and perennial Wisdom of the Ages.

The Robes link us with our own higher wisdom and to places of Divine Source. Sometimes, people wearing the Robe become the Oracle, posing questions, offering answers and dispensing wisdom.

Stepping into one of the Sacred Robes is literally stepping into a reservoir of energy held within the Robe itself.

The vision for the 33 Robes

After creating and working with an original 13 Robes for 13 years, Megan had a vision to create an entire body of 33 Robes to embody the full Initiation Path of Awakening.

This happened on Summer Solstice June, 2012 when Megan was on a month-long spiritual retreat. A group of spiritual guides who identified themselves as The Grand Council “dropped in” to her awareness and the message she received was crystalline clear: “We want you to animate us through your Sacred Robes, and there will be 33.”

Then she saw a vision of people in the 33 Sacred Robes, sitting in a circle, singing and toning, and they were being healed by the vibration of the Robes and the music.

Megan was already familiar with The Grand Council as she had been working and talking with them for some time before the vision. She knew this would be her next big project – to animate the Robes of this Grand Council of 33 Spiritual Elders. She completed the project over the next 2 years.

It is important that we listen deeply to what the Master Guides from each spiritual tradition is offering to humanity at this time.

They offer vital information to us so we can live together in joy, create peace, cultivate diversity, heal the planet and find solutions to our current challenges.
